GOODING, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — A vehicle that crashed through the Gooding Senior Center’s front door a week ago has suspended the center’s meals program.

“We had pool players in the pool room, and my cook was in the storeroom, so luckily nobody was on the path,” said Site Manager Kathy Molt.

Molt said she and several others were in the building when a pickup truck drove through the main dining room earlier this month. The crash destroyed the walls leading to the bathrooms and kitchen.

“You can see the skid marks on the floor, her foot remained on the gas petal, and it just kept spinning and filling the room with smoke,” Molt said.
