WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - When it comes to doing things like renewing your tags or getting a new license plate, the experience can vary depending on who you ask. Lately, customers said they’ve found themselves waiting in line for hours to get their tags or do their title work.

“The last two experiences I’ve had with the tag office, they got me in and out. I thought it was going to be that way today, but I’m having to miss classes right now to get into this,” said Jacob Lamb, a student.

With only two tag offices in Sedgwick County, some people said they’ve waited as long as four hours in line for title services.

“If you don’t get here at 8 o’clock in the morning, you’re not going to get title work done,” said Chris Currie, who was at the tag office getting title services on Monday.
