WILLOUGHBY, Ohio - A 20-year-old man was taken to the hospital following a shooting on Monday at about 3:55 p.m. in the area of 1337 Fox Run Drive, Willoughby police reported.

A suspect was taken into custody in the area at about 6:30 p.m. and no onoging threat to the public was apparent, according to police.

The victim was taken to University Hospitals Lake West Medical Center and then airlifted to University Hospitals Main Campus.

The victim’s condition was not known. The shooting remains under investigation. Those with information can call the Willoughby Police Department Detective Bureau at 440-953-4210.
