WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - A McPherson daycare owner was arrested and her license was suspended after allegations of charges abuse.

Court documents show that Kimberly Horn is facing multiple charges including child abuse. Horn is accused of cruel and inhuman punishment of a child under age 6.

The Kansas Department of Health issued an emergency order of suspension for her license on Friday.

Horn is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Wednesday.

McPherson police say an investigation is ongoing and they can’t release any details.
