Hundreds gathered at Veterans Memorial Park in Hoover on Sunday to remember and honor the life of Charlie Kirk. The event included a prayer vigil followed by two speakers, Morgan Walker and Rick Shaver.

Walker opened the service saying, "The enemy comes only to steel kill and to destroy. For a moment, I bet that he thought that he was successful. But in times like these, God calls us to have faith over fear, to come even more bold and rise up and drown out the whisper of the.
