The Insurance Institute of Canada’s CIP Society has appointed several new members to its National Council, expanding its representation of professionals from across the country.
The most recent appointments, announced in August, include Kamran Afshar of Intact in Ontario and Deanne Taylor of Burns & Wilcox in Newfoundland and Labrador. Earlier in April, the Society named Simion Prodan of Co-operators in New Brunswick, Josiane Berube of Wynward in Quebec, Martin Moran of BFL Canada in British Columbia, Matthew Friesen of Western Financial Group in Manitoba, and Isaac Kangave of SGI Canada in Alberta.
The National Council, chaired by Renée-Léa Soucy, provides leadership on behalf of CIP Society members. It oversees initiatives that advance professional development, promote thought le
