Police in Abbotsford are investigating after another home was targeted by gunfire and more vehicles were set ablaze Monday morning.

The Abbotsford Police Department (AbbyPD) says officers responded to reports of two vehicles on fire on Eagle Peak Drive near Alamo Heights Drive around 4:30 a.m.

“Upon arrival, officers discovered two parked vehicles engulfed in flames in front of a residence,” police said.

“Further investigation revealed that the home had also been struck by gunfire.”

The occupants were reportedly asleep inside at the time and were not physically injured.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed what happened or captured video to call the AbbyPD Major Crime Unit at 604-859-5225.
