KINGSTON – An 18-year-old man was stabbed in his thigh in the City of Kingston and police believe there were two assailants who were possibly known to the victim.
Police describe the injury as a “deep stab wound” that was treated at the emergency room of HealthAlliance Hospital.
The Kingston Fire Department ambulance transported the victim to the hospital after the incident that occurred at around 6 p.m. on Saturday, September 13 on Liberty Street between Broadway and Prospect Street.
City police said no motive has been established but police do not believe the assault was a random act and there is no domestic relationship involved.
Town of Ulster Police are assisting in the investigation, which remains active.
