The Los Angeles Lakers are entering the 2025-26 season with a few tweaks compared to last year. The Lakers made some adjustments to their roster ahead of the upcoming season, and the adjustments are considered an upgrade compared to what they had last season.

Hawks Make Trade, Send Guard to East Rival

The Lakers certainly upgraded the center position — adding Deandre Ayton — and they signed Jake LaRavia for some wing support and Marcus Smart for some defensive help.

These aren't moves that likely move the needle for the Lakers' title hopes, but the expectation is that LA will do plenty this upcoming season to continue to upgrade.
