A former West Des Moines gymnastics coach has been arrested in Mississippi and is facing federal child pornography charges, on top of the federal charges he's facing in Iowa.

Federal court records show Sean Gardner is being held in a county jail in Poplarville, Mississippi, after previously being held at the Polk County Jail .

The coach was hired to work at Chow's Gymnastics back in 2018.

Chow's owner said he didn't know of the allegations until Gardner was arrested by the FBI last month.

Gardner had worked at several other gyms, and the FBI has expanded its investigation to those facilities.
