Budding Glasgow writers are being encouraged to 'unleash their inner poet' as part of Glasgow's 850th birthday.
Locals are being asked to contribute everything from a line to a masterwork on what the city means to them. Led by the Poet Laureate Jim Carruth, the project hopes to see a diverse set of views reflecting the "thoughts of those who call Glasgow home".
Jim Carruth, the city's poet laureate for the past 10 years and an ambassador for the city's poetry community, said: "This project is a fantastic opportunity for everyone in Glasgow to share their unique perspective on what makes our city special. Whether you're a lifelong resident or a newcomer, your voice matters, and we want to hear it."
