The organisers behind GlasGLOW have been delighted by how popular this year's event is proving with 35,000 tickets already sold and peak weekend slots nearly gone.

So much so, that they have decided to add a full extra week of dates to meet demand.

The blockbuster Halloween light show runs at the Botanic Gardens from October 24 and is being extend to November 9, with an extra seven days of ticket availability going on sale at 7.30am on Wednesday, September 17.

Celebrating its eighth year, the show’s nostalgic new theme is inspired by the legendary 1980s “Glasgow’s Miles Better” campaign.
