(QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- Several concertgoers had their vehicles broken into and items stolen over the weekend outside PNC Music Pavilion, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police.
While fans were inside enjoying performances by Nelly and Ja Rule on Sunday, September 14, multiple people returned to the parking lot to find their vehicles broken into.
According to several CMPD reports, more than 20 people reported vehicle break-ins in the parking lot, with the thefts allegedly happening between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. that night.
Victims reported stolen items ranging from wallets and purses to cash, credit cards, and even firearms, including a Glock .40 caliber handgun with an extended magazine and 15 rounds of 9mm ammo. Several trucks and SUVs were also reportedly damaged.
