LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A deadly two-vehicle crash killed a 16-year-old girl in Howell Township on Monday.

The Livingston County Sheriff's Office reports that deputies were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Oak Grove Road and Grove Meadows Boulevard in Howell Township at around 9:57 p.m.

Following the preliminary investigation, the sheriff's office says the 16-year-old girl from Howell was turning onto Oak Grove Road from Grove Meadows Boulevard in her 2014 Chevy Cruze when she was hit by a 2014 Dodge Charger, which was driven by an 18-year-old from Howell.

The 16-year-old girl was thrown from her vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene by Livingston County EMS.
