Dating back to her collegiate playing days at UConn, Paige Bueckers always had the makings of a player who seemed destined to be a star at the WNBA level. And on Tuesday, Bueckers received her first big award, showing that she is certainly on the path to stardom.

Despite the fact that Bueckers didn't have all that much team success in her rookie season with the Dallas Wings, going just 10-34 on the season, she did show that she profiles to be one of the most prolific scorers in the WNBA for years to come, averaging 19.2 points per game in 2025.
