CLEVELAND — Could Cleveland be the next major city to have National Guard troops on hand to help provide support to local law enforcement? One of Northeast Ohio's congressional members is asking for that assistance.
In an op-ed piece in the Washington Times , U.S. Rep. Max Miller (R-OH-7) called on Gov. Mike DeWine to authorize the deployment of the Ohio National Guard to Cleveland as "a temporary measure, but a necessary one."
