Quarterback Zach Collaros was not back at the controls as the Winnipeg Blue Bombers returned to practice on Tuesday.
The injured starter was in full pads and a helmet, but Chris Streveler was running the No. 1 offence as the Bombers, 6-7, began preparations for Saturday’s game in Ottawa.
Terry Wilson was taking the second-team reps.
Collaros suffered a head injury in the Banjo Bowl loss to Saskatchewan, Sept. 6. He missed last week’s game in Hamilton, where the Bombers suffered their third straight loss.
The 37-year-old has been sidelined during games three times this season, twice with what the team listed as a neck injury.
With a series of concussions behind him, this latest knock to the head had some, most notably TSN panelist Milt Stegall, saying it was best if Collaros retire rat
