OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - One of the six suspects charged in connection with the murder case of an Omaha man has had some of his charges dropped.
Talan Wilson, now 17, no longer faces charges of first-degree murder and two counts of use of a weapon to commit a felony.
However, he does still face two counts of robbery and two other counts of use of a weapon to commit a felony.
Wilson and five others were arrested for the death of Mursal Jama.
Wilson is currently being held without bond.
Jama was shot and killed outside his home on Aug. 13, 2024. Detectives believe six young people between the ages of 11 and 17 took Jama’s SUV and headed out-of-town to allegedly steal more guns .
