JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. (WJHL) - The Town of Jonesborough plans to host its first-ever "Wag-N-Splash" event for dogs at Wetlands Water Park on Oct 5.

This event invites the community to bring their dogs for a fun-filled afternoon at the water park during the off-season without the worry of children playing, according to a press release from the town.

The town said online pre-registration for all dogs is required, and animals participating must be up-to-date on all necessary vaccines, with proof.

Admission is $5 per dog, the release said.

Small dogs will be open to splash and swim on Oct. 5 from 1 to 3 p.m. Large dog breeds will have splash time the same day from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
