HOUSTON (KIAH) — A heavy duty truck carrying gravel has overturned on the 610 North Loop near I-45, causing all four westbound lanes to be closed on Tuesday afternoon.

The accident happened around 3 p.m. Tuesday, as the truck lost its load of gravel, as well as a spill of diesel fuel.

Houston police and Harris County deputies are on the scene to help with traffic control.

All four westbound lanes of the North Loop are closed in that area.
