HANFORD, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A man who stole approximately $10,000 worth of gaming equipment in Hanford Sunday was arrested, police said.

The man who was arrested was identified by officers as 24-year-old Jonathan Rocha.

On Sunday, officers responded to the 900 block of Olive Avenue for a report of a residential burglary, in which police said the rear window had been broken overnight. Police said a computer and safe were stolen.

The homeowner attempted to review surveillance footage, and still photos from the video were shared on social media.

Police said that a family member of Rocha's identified him as the suspect and informed officers that he had items in his room that did not belong to him.

The family provided their address and gave officers permission to search the home. Police
