PORTERVILLE, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Two people were arrested on felony charges after police say they vandalized outdoor community resources.

According to the Porterville Police Department, the Tule River Parkway and the new pedestrian bridge near Plano Street and the Tule River were extensively tagged with graffiti.

Over the weekend, deputies identified the suspects as 41-year-old Jerry Castillo and 31-year-old Emily Wells. Castillo was found and arrested Saturday in the sub-100 Block of North Plano Street, and Wells was arrested Sunday.
