Coffeehouse Five in Franklin has re-opened for business after a fire damaged its coffee bean roaster.
The coffeehouse location experienced a small fire in it roasting room last Monday; there were no injuries. The coffeeshop re-opened on Sept. 13.
Roasting at the location is currently still on hold until their new roaster arrives and is installed, but they hope to be fully operational very soon, they said in a Facebook post.
In an email to customers on Thursday, Coffeehouse Five said that the Airbed Roaster used to roast all of their coffee beans could not be salvaged from the fire. They have purchased a new roaster, but this is a “very large and unexpected expense” for the small business.
