PEPPER PIKE, Ohio -- When you look at Ursuline College senior Grace Van Niel’s schedule -- from volleyball to community volunteering, working as a resident assistant and starting her own online business, all the while maintaining a 4.0 grade point average -- one obvious question comes to mind:
When does she sleep?
Van Niel, from Amherst, said she does get enough rest.
But during her waking hours, “I like to be go-go-go.”
All that effort has paid off, as Van Niel has been chosen as one of only 20 student-athletes nationwide -- 10 men and 10 women -- to be named to the Allstate National Association of Collegiate Athletic Directors’ Good Works Team.
The sports management major at the private college in Pepper Pike was selected out of 128 nominees and 600,000 student-athletes eligible.
