A grieving metro woman wants to bring attention to her sister's unsolved murder. The case dates back to 2014, and since that time, 31-year-old Holly Van Auken's killer has not been identified despite clues left behind.

The victim's sister Lori Van Auken, said the brutal murder took a huge toll on their family. Van Auken said she is now ready to solve the 11-year-old cold case and bring her sister justice.

"There's not a day goes by that I don't think about her," said Van Auken.

A piece of Van Auken died when she lost her sister in April 2014.

"I went into immediate depression," said Van Auken.

Even harder was the loss felt by the victim's two children, who at the time of the murder were ages nine and one.
