CLEVELAND, Ohio - A Pennsylvania judge has denied bond for a Brunswick woman accused of torturing her 7-year-old son and fleeing with him.

On Sunday, police near Pittsburgh arrested Tiarika Baymon, 32, after an incident in Medina County prompted an Amber Alert.

She is being held in the Allegheny County Jail following a Monday hearing, court records show.

There, she faces a second-degree felony count of endangering the welfare of children, plus several misdemeanors, including carrying a firearm without a license, recklessly endangering another person, obstruction, resisting arrest and giving false identification to law enforcement, court records show.
