BOSSIER CITY, La. (KSLA) - Keeping you safe when the weather gets severe was the reason the National Weather Service (NWS) hosted its Integrated Warning Team Workshop Tuesday, Sept. 16 in Bossier City.

KSLA News 12’s chief meteorologist Matt Jones was there representing the broadcast media. There were also representatives from local, state, federal agencies and more.

Brad Bryant with NWS said the meeting emphasized everyone’s shared mission of saving lives and property.
