LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Police are looking for Roger Caldwell , a convicted murderer who walked away from his group home Friday.
Police say he’s in danger. Officers across Scott County, Indiana, have been trying to find him. They issued a Silver Alert for him Monday.
It’s not clear why Roger Caldwell was released to a group home in Scott County. The Department of Corrections said he’s on parole, but the Parole Board said he’s completed his sentence.
The Scott County Sheriff said police should have been told much sooner that Caldwell was missing.
“We’re not saying this guy is going to go out and do something, that’s not what we’re saying, but the fact of the matter is he has done something,” said Scott County Sheriff Jerry Goodin.
