The FAA did not give any details about the nature of the issue, but the Massachusetts Port Authority, which manages Logan Airport, said the flight returned there because of a sound.

"The aircraft returned to Logan for a report of a loud noise," a Massport spokesperson told NBC10 Boston in a statement. "Nothing was found upon investigation."
