LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services released its first semiannual report. It provides insight into critical topics such as ‘use of force,’ including physical intervention, and ‘training compliance’ for protective service members.
The report is independently done by the NDCS Chief Inspector’s Office, reviewing correctional practices at the agency. The position was established in 2024 by Director Rob Jeffreys to monitor internal practices and provide recommendations for process improvements.
