MINOT, N.D. (KMOT) – A man serving life in prison for the 2020 murder of a woman in Minot has now been convicted on a pair of weapons charges.

A jury found Shawnee Krall guilty on Tuesday of two counts of possession of a weapon by an inmate.

Last August, a jury found Krall guilty of murder in the death of Alice Queirolo. In February, the courts ordered him to serve life without the possibility of parole.

In 2023, investigators said Ward County Jail staff found homemade weapons in Krall’s jail cell. He’ll be sentenced on the weapons charges on Jan. 16, 2026.

Krall is appealing the murder conviction. Oral arguments are scheduled for Wednesday morning.
