While there have been some significant storms in Garfield County and further north that have even been severe in nature, us in the Grand Valley and south have been protected so far. A passing cold front is causing these showers to pop up, despite our dew points not being the highest. This front is expected to start to stall out and not bring much in the way of showers to Grand Junction and further south, although the mountains to our north and east may see rainfall as we head into the evening. Tonight's low will be 55° with mostly clear skies.
Grand Junction will be a bit cooler tomorrow as northern air moves our way. Tomorrow's high will be 80° with clear skies. Cooler temperatures in the upper 70s and low 80s will be the trend for the next few days, with the cooler air mass from the nor
