APPLETON, Wis. (WBAY) - Whether you moved, changed your name, became a U.S. citizen, or even just turned 18, the time to update your voter information is now.

Tuesday is National Voter Registration Day, and the League of Women Voters provided all of the information you need to make sure your vote counts come Election Day.

The non-partisan organization works to protect and expand voting rights, to make sure everyone has the chance to make their voices heard.

They say registering now or checking to confirm that your information is accurate avoids delays at the polls.
