BERNALILLO, N.M. —

Detours are in place north of Bernalillo after flash flooding washed out a bridge near Highway 550. Rail Runner service was impacted in the area.

A Rail Runner spokesperson said riders traveling north were being bussed from the stop on Highway 550 to the San Felipe station to continue their trip. Southbound travelers are being bussed from the stop to the Highway 550 station.

The closure was announced on Tuesday evening, Sept. 16. Repairs have been made in the area and traffic and Rail Runner are expecting to return to normal for Wednesday.
