HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - As police investigate a deadly stabbing in the Kalihi-Palama area, one resident of the home where it happened provided new insight Tuesday.
He said the home was a revolving door of tenants, many with a history of drugs and other problems.
Police were called to the home along Olomea Street around 8 p.m. for a reported argument. Investigators learned a 27-year-old man allegedly stabbed a 57-year-old woman. They said the two were housemates who rented separate rooms.
The suspect was arrested for second-degree murder. Hawaii News Now is not naming him because at last check, charges were still pending.
But Arthur Stone, who has lived at the house for about five years, described the suspect as a “very sharp guy. Said sir, yes sir, you know, like that.”
Stone said
