IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) - The Iowa football team will hit the road to open up the Big Ten season at Rutgers Friday. The players have mixed feelings when it comes to a shorter week.
“I don’t mind the short weeks,” senior wide receiver Seth Anderson said. “It’s quicker to game day.”
“No, I don’t prefer them. I don’t like traveling. The best place you can play in is Kinnick,” senior defensive lineman Max Llewellyn said.
“I don’t really mind it. To me, it’s doesn’t matter when we have to play. If we had to play on Tuesday, I’d be ready to go,” senior defensive back TJ Hall said.
“I like night games, especially on Fridays, because then you get all day Saturday, all day Sunday,” senior kicker Drew Stevens said. “You get to relax and chill out. Plus, there’s no off day like we get on Thursdays
