A man has been charged after cannabis worth more than $325,000 was allegedly found at a property in Bungonia - between Nowra and Goulburn.

Police searched the property on Oallen Ford Road about 10.20am on Tuesday, September 16.

At the property police seized 253 cannabis plants - with an estimated street value of $151,800 and 24.7kg of dried cannabis - with an estimated street value of $175,000.

A 41-year-old man was arrested and taken to Goulburn Police Station, where he was charged with supplying greater than indictable and less than commercial quantity of a prohibited drug and possessing a prohibited drug.

He was refused bail to appear before the Bail Court today (Wednesday September 17).

Investigations are continuing.
