HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - Cloud cover dissipates as we inch closer to the end of the work week.

DISCUSSION:

On Wednesday, temperatures will be in the low to mid-80s, with mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies. We will remain dry throughout the day, continuing our overall dry spell.

Temperatures will begin to climb heading into Thursday, with highs expected to reach the mid to upper 80s. Cloud cover will gradually dissipate, giving way to mostly sunny skies and no chance of rain.

Friday will bring the peak temperatures of the week, with highs reaching the upper 80s and some areas potentially hitting 90 degrees. Sunny skies will dominate once again, and no rain is expected.

This weekend, we may see some rain as slight chances of showers return to the forecast.
