Nebraska congressman says he's been a target just like some of his colleagues

OMAHA, Neb. —

Nebraska Rep. Don Bacon said political violence is wrong.

Bacon said people on both sides have been targeted in some way, including himself.

"I got a restraining order on someone right now back home. And so this, and I know the Democrats have the same issues, so we have to treat this as a team and not make it worse," he said.

This comes less than a week after conservative activist Charlie Kirk was shot and killed at a Utah Valley University event.
