HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - At least two semis were involved in a three-vehicle crash Tuesday in Clay County.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office said the crash occurred near Highway 6 and Road A by the Adams County line.
According to the Nebraska State Patrol, one of the semis was attempting to turn south when it turned in front of an eastbound semi, causing a crash at 11:35 a.m. The semi then struck a garbage truck that was stopped at the stop sign.
All drivers were wearing seat belts. All three were transported to Mary Lanning with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the turning semi was cited for failure to yield the right of way. The intersection is now back open.
