Queen Camilla, Prince Edward and the Duchess of Edinburgh are set to skip the start of US President Donald Trump’s state visit amid ongoing protests outside the palace gates.
President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump touched down in the United Kingdom on Tuesday evening local time via Air Force One and are currently staying at Windsor Castle.
Their arrival was welcomed by angry protestors from Led by Donkeys, a group which is infamous for staging viral stunts targeting politicians.
The group managed to project a video montage with images of the US President and disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein for several minutes on to one of the towers of Windsor Castle.
