Thousands of pounds have been raised for a grieving mum who lost her eldest son in a horror car crash.

Ed Burrows, 26, died in an accident on Kangaroo Island in South Australia along with one other passenger.

Friends and colleagues have since launched a fundraiser for mum Fleur Sainsbury, from Tunbridge Wells .

Ed, who was a car enthusiast, had been travelling and working at Sea Dragon Lodge, which was around 7.5 miles away from where the crash happened.

Another passenger, Craig Doyle, a 55-year-old father and baseball coach from Adelaide, also died.

The car had rolled over at about 11.30pm last Wednesday (September 10).

It was reported that crash investigators were at the scene the following morning.

Local reports say the vehicle may have swerved to avoid a kangaroo.
