SULPHUR, La. (KPLC) - The suspect accused of several recent burglaries at Sulphur High School has been arrested, according to the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Yesterday afternoon, after releasing photos of the suspect to the public, he was identified as Dustin J. Bevil, 36, of Sulphur.

Following this, detectives were able to locate him and, after questioning, arrested Bevil.

He has been booked into the Calcasieu Parish Correctional Center on the following charges:

Unauthorized entry of a place of business (5 charges)

Possession of a Schedule II drug

Possession of marijuana

Possession of drug paraphernalia

Judge Tony Fazzio has set Bevil’s bond at $300,000 for the unauthorized entry charges, with bond still pending for the remaining charges.
