PHOENIX — A law enforcement presence was seen outside the Turning Point USA headquarters Wednesday morning in Phoenix as officials were seen inspecting a suspicious bag.

Phoenix police said "out an abundance of caution," a bomb squad responded to the area of 49th Street and Beverly Road and the location has been "cleared."

The bag has been deemed safe and there's no threat attached to the incident, Phoenix police said. Restrictions in the area will be lifted.

An individual dressed in a protective suit was seen walking around a vehicle and a robotic device was seen stationed near the car.

The incident was reported one week after conservative activist Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, was assassinated in Utah.
