NATCHITOCHES, La. (KALB) - The Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office said its Drug Enforcement Unit recently made one of the largest meth busts in the parish’s recent history.

NPSO shared that on September 15, around 3:15 p.m., their deputies pulled over Steven Sykes, of Natchitoches, who they say was driving with illegal window tint. They said he was found to have an active arrest warrant for the distribution of meth.

NPSO said a search of his vehicle led to the discovery of four pounds and eight ounces of suspected meth.

Then, NPSO said this led to the search of a home on Texas Street, where they recovered a substantial quantity of suspected meth, ecstasy, drug paraphernalia, scales and related items, such as:
