The Connecticut soccer team has three Latin players, including Jonathan Jimenez, from Mexico, Samuel Careaja, from Argentina, and Adrian Arturo Diz, from Cuba.

Growing up in Connecticut, Jimenez said his family has instilled in him how to embrace his culture through food, music, and soccer.
