ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - It’s been four months since a deadly tornado ripped through parts of St. Louis, and many of the hardest-hit areas are still without working street lights.
As fall approaches and the days get shorter, neighbors said the darkness is raising new concerns about safety.
Help for storm survivors continues three days a week at Christian Centennial Church, thanks to the work of 314 Oasis. The group said many families are still struggling to recover.
“There are people living in cars, in tents, in homes with generators as their only source of power,” Dr. LJ Punch said, organizer of 314 Oasis.
