For a second straight day, quarterback Zach Collaros was not running the Winnipeg Blue Bombers offence in practice on Tuesday.
Head coach Mike O’Shea, though, wasn’t ready to count him out of starting Saturday’s game in Ottawa.
O’Shea says Collaros is showing some positive signs off the field, even if he’s not taking the starter’s reps on it.
“Anger,” O’Shea said, laughing. “Usually, with Zach, when he gets frustrated and wants to be out there, that’s usually a good indicator that it’s really close.”
The Bombers will hold one more practice, closed to the public, on Thursday, before flying to the nation’s capital on Friday.
