CULLMAN COUNTY, Ala. —

An investigation is ongoing after the Cullman County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of shots fired along County Road 1101 Wednesday at 1:30 p.m.

Deputies quickly arrived on the scene and have taken one suspect into custody.

They said this is an isolated incident and there is not an ongoing threat to the community.

The investigation is still active, and more details will be released as they become available.
