ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A faculty member at Emory University School of Medicine is out of a job after comments made on social media.
In an internal memo obtained by Atlanta News First, Emory’s executive vice president for health affairs, Joon Lee, said she was aware of a recent post from a faculty member about Charlie Kirk’s death. She said the content “raised concerns among our colleagues and communities.”
Then on Thursday, the dean of the school of medicine told staff that the “non-clinical” faculty member had been terminated.
